Jamie Colby

Colby, National News Anchor and Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July 2003. Colby was anchor and reporter for CBS News, including as the fill-in anchor for CBS Up to the Minute. Colby was previously a CNN correspondent. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is admitted as an attorney for New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. She has won awards such as The Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002, for her coverage of the September 11 attack; the Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000 and her Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. In addition, she was named TV Week's "Rising News Star to Keep an Eye On". Colby was an attorney who, along with her professional career as a journalist, also worked for 10 years at a private practice. The firm's legal practice began after a Hollywood production firm assigned her to The Tonight Show. When she was 22, she worked with Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC and during the divorce. Colby, who is a Fox Business reporter and host is reporting for Strange Inheritance from January 2015. The show covers unusual or unusual inheritances that relatives or families pass on to their children.
